Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Put your best foot forward with one of our walking challenges and fundraise for us. Whether you're challenging yourself at one of our four Great Strides 65 locations, venturing north to the rainbow-coloured mountains of Iceland, or taking part in one of our many family-friendly walks and treks, we'll be happy to support you every step of the way
How we'll support you
As you pick out your walking boots and start planning for your event, we'll make sure you've got a Team CF top to wear with pride on the day. We'll send you a fundraising pack bursting with great ideas, as well as event newsletters and updates. On the day, we'll make sure you've got the support, guidance and (most importantly) refreshments you need to make sure you enjoy yourself, safe in the knowledge that you've done something to make a difference.

What could your personal best achieve?
In 2017 over £430,000 was raised through walks and treks. That's enough money to provide life-sustaining medication for a year to over 4,000 people with cystic fibrosis - £104 covers the cost of a pre-payment certificate, funding a year of vital prescription charges. So, now that you've talked the talk, it's time to walk the walk!
Scarlett is 11 years old and has cystic fibrosis. Last year she and her family formed ‘Team Scarlett’ and took on Great Strides 65™ South, a 65km walk through the Surrey countryside.
Scarlett’s mum Michelle said: “Despite having CF, while we were puffing and panting, Scarlett chatted or sang along to the music we were playing the whole time she was walking. I honestly didn't hear her complain once, even on the seemingly never ending path leading up to the finish, when we were all shattered.”
