Investing in Volunteers

Investing in Volunteers (IIV) is a quality trademark from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, which reflects a commitment to best practice and standards around volunteer involvement.

Trust staff receiving IIV awardThe Cystic Fibrosis Trust was awarded IIV accreditation in October 2014, after months of hard work which culminated in submitting a portfolio of policies and procedures, and a visit from an assessor who met with volunteers, Trustees and staff.

“We are thrilled that we have been awarded Investing in Volunteers accreditation. Our volunteers are fantastic – throughout the UK they are going the extra mile to help achieve the goal we all share – to beat cystic fibrosis for good. Without them, we simply wouldn’t be able to carry out the essential work that we do.”

- James Atkins, Volunteer and Development Manager
