The Prince of Wales became our Patron in 2014 and hosted our 50th anniversary event at Clarence House that year, with our previous patron Princess Alexandra.
His Royal Highness has since attended other Trust events and in 2018 members of the CF community and supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust were delighted to be among the guests at His Royal Highness’ 70th birthday Garden Party.
Richard Hunt CBE, Chair of Trustees at the Trust welcomed the news, saying:
“The Patronage of His Royal Highness is hugely significant to the Trust, helping, as it has, to raise awareness and the profile of a sometimes not well known and an often misunderstood condition. We are delighted with his commitment as the Trust enters a new chapter aiming for further progress in the treatment of cystic fibrosis and support for all those who live with its challenges.”
