Head of Policy and Public Affairs
Circa £53,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits and flexible working
Full time post based in Central London
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them. We invest in cutting-edge research, drive up standards of clinical care, offer support for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis, and campaign hard on the issues that matter.
Cystic fibrosis is chronically misunderstood, kills thousands worldwide and is carried unknowingly in the genes of millions. We’re here to beat it.
Putting people with cystic fibrosis at the centre of everything we do is key to helping us beat the condition for good and doing this is a challenge that you’ll relish.
As a Head of Policy and Public Affairs you will have unique opportunity to lead the organisation’s influencing and policy change activity at critical time for people with CF as we try to get access to lifechanging medications. This will be a very dynamic and varied role – developing and implementing policies while working closely with the patient and clinical communities. You will be providing leadership for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s Policy and Public Affairs team, develop, deliver and monitor the team’s strategy, projects, budget and ethos.
Benefits include 30 days annual leave and opportunities for learning and development.
Closing date for completed applications will be Monday 17 February 2020 at 5pm.
If this is for you, we would love to hear from you. Take a look at the full role description, then complete the application form and equal opportunities form and send your CV and a covering letter detailing your relevant experience to email@example.com. The equal opportunities form will be separated from your application form prior to the selection process.
We welcome your interest in working with us here at the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. In order to review and manage your application, we need to collect certain personal information about you through your application. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent in what we do with it.
We will only use your personal information as required to manage your application to work with us, or as required by applicable law or regulatory requirements.
We do ask that you help us monitor our performance on equality by completing the accompanying Equal Opportunities Form which contains no identifiable personal information. Doing so is optional, and any information you provide through this form will be used to provide generalised aggregated reports. It will not affect your application in any way and is kept separately.
In the event your application is unsuccessful, we will retain your information for up to 6 months, before it is disposed of confidentially.
