We’re looking for someone with the creative flair to think differently and who’s not afraid to push the boundaries with old and new communication channels.
The post holder will be responsible for helping to promote cystic fibrosis and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland across all audiences, channels and platforms, acting as deputy to the Senior Communications Manager.
Working across the wider Marketing & Communications team, the role will be responsible for developing relationships with key media outlets, nationally and regionally to help further our reach and engagement with the cystic fibrosis community, raise awareness of CF, the Trust, and the issues people with CF are facing.
With a collaborative and approachable attitude, you’ll work with colleagues across the Marketing & Communications team to ensure the stories and experiences of people with cystic fibrosis are at the centre of everything that we do.
Acting as the primary support to the Senior Communications Manager, you’ll use your experience to help ensure the smooth operation of the busy press office, and you’ll feel at home when proactively pitching news stories to journalists and responding to reactive media inquiries.
