We are grateful for all donations made to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and we hope that our supporters are able to send us their donations without experiencing any problems. Under charity law, charities are not permitted to refund donations, other than in specific circumstances. The Charities Act 2011 can be found here. However, we understand that mistakes can be made, and that there may be a particular reason why a supporter needs to request a refund of a payment made to the Trust.
If that happens to you, please contact our supporter care team (020 3795 2177 or email [email protected]) who will happy to discuss this with you. They will need to ask for some information and paperwork from you in order to consider your request, to ensure that we are compliant with applicable laws. Please be assured that we will look into any requests carefully on your behalf, and will aim to process any refunds that do comply with the rules within 2 weeks.
