About this role

You’ll have a nose for what makes a good story and use your friendly and approachable attitude to work with colleagues to find the latest news to share internally, on our website and beyond.

We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to push the boundaries with old and new communication channels, embraces change and is happy to explore new ways of engaging our audiences. Someone who understands the challenges of rare medical conditions, the charitable landscape and the shift in the media industry.

A master juggler, you’ll have experience of working in a busy press office - successfully promoting stories to national and regional, while responding to enquiries from journalists, social media and our online community.

You’ll work closely with our fundraising team to help us tell the stories of the amazing people who support us and alongside the marketing team you’ll ensure content is compelling and engaging. Most importantly, you’ll create opportunities for people with cystic fibrosis to be involved in the work that we do.

Benefits include 30 days annual leave, flexible working and opportunities for learning and development.
