Cystic Fibrosis Trust responds to 'Digital transformation in the NHS' report

David Ramsden, Chief Executive of Cystic Fibrosis Trust said: "We’re pleased to see that the Health & Social Care Committee’s report on digital transformation in the NHS highlights our work on the changing needs of healthcare monitoring for people with cystic fibrosis. Medical appointments are time-consuming and expensive for people with CF, so digital healthcare can bring important benefits. However, we know that in-person care is also critical and strongly valued by people affected by CF. It’s essential that the views of people with CF and their families drive how digital innovations are implemented and that everyone with CF receives high quality care that meets their needs."
