COVID-19 autumn booster news

Dr Keith Brownlee, Director of Medical Affairs at Cystic Fibrosis Trust said: "As the news of the eligible groups for 2023 autumn booster are announced, we recommend that people with CF access their booster as soon as they become available.



"Recent results of the MELODY study, supported by the Trust, showed that people with weaker immune systems who had more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were more likely to have antibodies, which help protect them from COVID infections in the future.



"NHS England will confirm details on how and when the vaccine can be accessed shortly and if you have any questions or concerns about your personal situation, please discuss them with your CF team."
