Cystic Fibrosis Trust responds to Get Britain Working White Paper

"It is important that the government has recognised that support for those with long term conditions like CF must be tailored to the needs of the individual. We need to ensure that charities, and people with long-term health conditions are listened to, as they understand first-hand the barriers they, and those they support, face and the realities of their condition. 

It is vital that the government take this opportunity to raise the rate of SSP and other social safety nets, which allow those with CF the financial security to return to work. With the right specialised support, the government can help ensure people affected by cystic fibrosis can live a life unlimited."
