Information for executors

Being an executor can feel complicated and you may have some questions. We hope some of the below information will help if you are administering a Will with a gift to Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

We are incredibly grateful to those who have chosen to support us by leaving a gift in their Will to us. Here, you can find more information about carrying out the final wishes of the person who has died.

  • Paying in by cheque

You can send a cheque made payable to 'Cystic Fibrosis Trust' to:

Cystic Fibrosis Trust, One Aldgate, London, EC3N 1RE

We would be grateful if you could please include the name and address of the deceased as well as your contact details. This will allow us to update our database, and ensure no future mailings are sent out.

  • Paying in by bank transfer

If you would like to make a payment direct to our bank, please contact Poonam, our Legacy Officer, on 020 3795 1521 or by email

  • Paying in via our website

To make a payment on our website, please select the 'legacy donation' option on our donate page and complete the relevant details.

  • Other information needed

Depending on the type of gift that has been left, there may be some extra information needed:

    Pecuniary gift:

    • a copy of the clause in the Will that names Cystic Fibrosis Trust - this will help us to ensure the gift is spent in the way the deceased wished
    • any information as to why they chose to leave a gift. This isn't a necessity but helps us to know more about the reasons behind these special gifts.

    Residuary gift:

    • name and address of the person who left the gift
    • a copy of the clause in the Will that names Cystic Fibrosis Trust - this will help us to ensure the gift is spent in the way the deceased wished

    • details of any property owned by the deceased and two or more valuations
    • a copy of the final Estate Accounts at the end of the administration
    • any information as to why they chose to leave a gift. This isn't a necessity but helps us to know more about the reasons behind these special gifts.
