University of Aberdeen to host conversation about cystic fibrosis and what the future holds.

The University of Aberdeen will host a talk on cystic fibrosis next week, as part of Café Med, an exciting and accessible series of conversations between members of the public and leading figures in medical research.The discussion, ‘Tackling infections in cystic fibrosis’, will focus on current treatments and what the future may hold for people with cystic fibrosis.

The list of speakers includes Dr Deborah O’Neil, who is CEO of Novabiotics, which is collaborating with the Trust to explore the use of Lynovex, an antimicrobial drug, in people with cystic fibrosis.
