Let's score against Pseudomonas during the Euros!

Researchers are looking for 23 recruits living with cystic fibrosis (CF) to fill remaining spaces in the TORPEDO trial, to explore how important IV treatments are in eradicating Pseudomonas.

Chronic Pseudomonas infections often lead to further symptoms and more IVs, so people with CF are encouraged to go ahead with IV treatments even if they have few symptoms, and the TORPEDO team is aiming to find out whether the inconvenience of an IV is worthwhile.

The team has so far recruited 257 participants, and is striving to reach its new goal of bringing that number up to 280 by the time the Euro 2016 finals kick off on 10 July.
