Xander’s story

Your gift would help children with CF like Xander, a two-year-old boy with a rare CF mutation that means he cannot benefit from Kaftrio. Xander’s father Duane got in contact with the Trust via their CF team at Belfast Hospital. His hope for Xander is that one day he can live a life without the limits of CF. “With cystic fibrosis, it can feel like there's a cloud hanging over you. If that cloud was able to be removed from Xander, then I think that's a life without limits. If he can do whatever he wants, whether it be having children, sport or work, or whatever he decides to focus his energy on, that would be a life unlimited.”

Our free Will service

If you’re considering writing a Will, you could use our free Will service, which allows anyone over the age of 18 to write or update a simple Will for free. There is no obligation to leave us a gift, but we hope that after you’ve provided for your loved ones, you’ll think of us.

You have three options for writing your will: face to face, online or over the phone (latter two options only available in England and Wales). Once you have started the process of writing your Will, you need to decide what kind of gift you want to leave. There are two different kinds of gifts: a percentage of your estate, or a set amount, where you decide how much you want to leave. Once you have decided on the type of gift you want to leave, make sure that your solicitor states our full address and charity number, so you can make sure the gift reaches us.
