Featuring our amazing marathon runners, our response to the reported PIP changes, and short film Cherry Blossoms in March

London Marathon

Over 110 runners ran the London Marathon for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and an amazing 16 runners had CF. We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who ran for the Trust – they’ve raised over £400,000. Head to our social media channels to see a video from the Marathon and a selection of runner’s stories, and to the website if you’d like to sign up for 2025.

Sophie Grace Holmes, a runner with cystic fibrosis, is running 36 marathons in 36 days, starting at the London Marathon and finishing at the Edinburgh Marathon on 26 May. You can support her challenge online here

We also had over 100 runners take part in the Tichborne Team Marathon, marking 20 years since organiser Emma’s first marathon. You can read the story on our website

Response to reported PIP changes

We responded to the reported changes to Personal Independence Payments and called on the Government to ensure PIP properly supports those living with CF. You can read our statement here.

 

Short film Cherry Blossoms in March

Cherry Blossoms in March, a Canadian short film about the life of Jessica Tirshman and her experience of CF was screened at Salford University. You can watch the trailer online.
