Funeral and service collections
Thank you for considering giving donations in lieu of flowers or having a collection in memory of your loved one. These collections are a special and meaningful way to continue their legacy and help other people, we are truly grateful for this support - thank you.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we know that funerals can be different to what was planned and hoped for. We understand that this can be an upsetting and confusing time.
Although it’s not the same as physically being together, our online Tribute funds and funeral collection pages are places your friends and family can share photos, videos and memories. These pages will last forever, and you can visit them at any time. Pages can be set up on the forms below.
Planning a funeral can be a difficult and emotional time and it can be unclear of what to do with the current restrictions. Check out the official guidance of each UK nation here:
Funeral and service collection pages
Thank you for thinking of including us in this important day. To share funeral information with friends and family and collect donations, you could set up a unique funeral collection page. You can personalise these pages with photos, memories and music, and all donations are shown in one place.
To make it easier to access the funeral collection page, you might like to create a QR code to have on funeral service cards or seats. A QR code is like a barcode that you scan using your phone camera, which you can use instead of a link.
Caroline set up a funeral collection page in memory of her mother Vera: “It was really nice that I could add photos of my mother to make it more personal especially for family and friends who hadn’t seen her in a while. Having the page online meant that people who gave at the funeral were able to see their donations and know that it went to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The page is always active and that means my mother is still present today and is not forgotten.”
A tribute fund is a way to honour the memory of a loved one, with photos, memories, candles, donations and much more.
In addition to seeing how much has been raised in memory of your loved one, you can share the tribute fund with friends and family. They can add their memories, photos and videos at any time as well as linking with other fundraising activities.
Hazel set up a tribute fund in memory of her daughter Jo: "I, personally, find it very therapeutic to write down some of the memories I have and to look through photos and listen to music associated with them. It's so easy just to dip into it when I'm feeling a bit low and smile at the pictures and stories."
