Our December Media Roundup
Anthony’s Christmas lights
Our long-standing supporter Anthony also known as ‘Mr Christmas’ appeared on Jeremy Vine's Christmas Stars, The One Show's One Big Thank You and other local and national outlets in recognition of his fundraising efforts for the Trust.
Anthony’s niece has CF and he has decorated his home with festive lights and a grotto for the past 23 years, raising thousands for the Trust. Anthony will be retiring from this festive role so we would like to say a huge thank you for his generous donations and support for the Trust over the years.
Sophie’s World Record row
There was further regional coverage about our Trustee Sophie Pierce, taking on the Atlantic rowing challenge, and she was also interviewed on BBC’s Woman’s Hour (you can listen to her story here from 45:35) and read her story on the BBC here.
Everyone at the Trust would like to wish Sophie and her team the best of luck as they take on this record-breaking challenge.

Carols by Candlelight
Last month, we held our 22nd Carols by Candlelight service, an annual event held in memory of Alice Martineau. Over 600 guests attended the festive service, and we had readings from famous faces Jenny Agutter, Vincent Franklin, David Haig, Luke Martineau and Camilla Wallace, with actress Anna Maxwell Martin and Made in Chelsea's James Dunmore also attending the special occasion.
You can read about it here and on our website.
Raising awareness of CF
Teenage boxing star Mallie shared her inspiring story about winning a boxing championship and not allowing CF to stop her from reaching for her dreams. You can read her story here and on our website.
