Featuring permanent modulator access agreements, our work on the Creon shortages, Your Life and CF and the King's Birthday Honours announcement.

NICE approve permanent access

NICE approved permanent access to modulator therapies in England, offering hope and certainty to thousands. News quickly followed of agreements in Northern Ireland and Wales and we are expecting a similar access agreement from Scotland in the coming days.

Creon

We continued to raise awareness of the Creon shortages many members of our community have been facing in national and regional media. The Trust has been meeting with key stakeholders to try to minimise the impact these shortages are having on people affected by CF. You can read more here.

Your Life and CF

We published our Your Life and CF report, raising awareness of the physical, mental, and financial burdens people affected by CF are facing. We’d like to thank everyone who took part in the survey and shared their valuable insight – we couldn’t do what we do without you. The report was covered by The Express here, with a story from Emily, a student with CF.

King's Birthday Honours

Professor Jane Davies was awarded an OBE for services to people with cystic fibrosis in the King’s Birthday Honours. You can read the announcement here.
