Participating centres

Find out if your CF centre is part of the Clinical Trials Accelerator Platform.

32 adult and paediatric CF clinics from 20 NHS Trusts have been competitively selected to form the UK Trials Accelerator network. Collectively Trials Accelerator centres cover just under 80% of the UK CF population; an achievement which will help the Cystic Fibrosis Trust fulfil its ambition to ensure everyone with CF in the UK has access to high quality clinical trials.

Each centre will receive funding for a dedicated CF Trial Coordinator or Research Nurse; a much needed member of the clinical and research team who will support their local CF Community to access CF clinical trials and oversee the expert management of such trials.

If your centre isn't listed

A CF care centre does not have to be part of the Trials Accelerator to run clinical trials. So if your centre is not listed here, the chances are they will still be running clinical trials. However it is important to know that it is also possible for you to take part in a clinical trial being run from a different CF centre from the one you receive your clinical care in – don’t be afraid to ask your team about local or further afield clinical trial opportunities. You will also be able to search for UK-wide clinical trial opportunities via our new CF Trials Tracker which will be launching from our website soon.
