Government launches new life sciences plan

The Government launched a £2 billion life sciences sector plan, which will prioritise investment in health data and speed up clinical trials.

The key goals of the new plan are to enable world class research and development, attract and grow investment in the UK, and drive better outcomes for patients through innovation and reform.

It was developed with input from doctors, scientists, NHS leaders and industry experts, and builds on the 10-Year Health Plan, which the CF community helped to shape.
