This month we celebrated CF Week, where we saw all of you get involved and wear yellow. The theme of this year’s CF Week was ‘Research’, and we spent the week shedding light on all the research we’ve achieved so far and all the research still to be achieved.

On Wear Yellow Day, we were joined onCelebrities social media by our celebrity ambassadors; James Dunmore, Jenny Agutter and Richard Madeley and our celebrity supporters Jack Kinsey from Interior Design Masters, Lyndall Grace from Married at First Sight, and actors Nick Mohammed and Vincent Franklin.

Annual European Cystic Fibrosis Conference took place in Vienna 

The annual European Cystic Fibrosis Conference took place this month, which was an opportunity to discuss and debate the latest research, and to work together to improve the lives of people with CF throughout Europe and across the world.

Researchers, clinicians and CF Professionals from around Europe attended to deliver and receive talks on latest research, updates on access to medications, and more.

Media Coverage on the Trust’s Your Life and CF Survey

BBC Access AllBoth BBC Look North and BBC Access All podcast reported on the Trust's publication of our Your Life and CF survey, hearing testimonies from several people about how the cost of CF affects them. The Trust's own Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Ben Kind, appeared on both platforms to speak more on the report and our campaign asks.

Our Your Life and CF Survey was published this month, outlining how the cost of CF affects you, which will provide essential data to help us in our policy asks, campaigning and welfare services.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust announce a co- funding grant with CF Canada 

Cystic Fibrosis Trust has announced a multi-year co-funding grant with Cystic Fibrosis Canada looking into the bacteria Mycobacterium abscessus that causes serious lung infections in people with CF.
