Our Strategy Implementation Board (SIB) are an integral part of how we decide what research to fund at the Trust. Members of the Board include cystic fibrosis (CF) clinicians, laboratory-based researchers and people from the CF community. SIB are meeting online today, to decide which Strategic Research Centre (SRC) proposals should be recommended for funding. We caught up with Board member Aoife, who has CF, to find out what they will be discussing in today’s meeting and why SIB is so important for CF research.
Another national lockdown is back with us, which can be challenging at times. For some people, having a goal to work towards can be really helpful. We spoke to Craig about how taking part in a virtual challenge got him through the first lockdown and why being part of Team CF is so special.
