5k Your Way is our new virtual fundraising challenge, kicking off next month. We're encouraging our community to complete 5K – whether you run it, walk it or wheel it – in June and help fund life-changing research and support for the 11,000+ people in the UK living with CF.
Pamela is mum to Max, aged 7, who has cystic fibrosis, and she is also the founder of CF Mamas and Papas. In this blog she shares why she's supporting Wear Yellow Day and 5K Your Way next month, what the support of Cystic Fibrosis Trust means to her, and how she found a community through fundraising.
Partner your business with Cystic Fibrosis Trust through corporate fundraising, sponsorship, and charity partnerships that support people with cystic fibrosis across the UK.
A cystic fibrosis project within National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) BioResource is currently being set up. Its aim is to create a ‘library’ of genetic information from thousands of individuals with CF. This will be particularly useful to researchers developing treatments for the rare forms of CF, and to tailor personalised treatments for each individual living with CF.
We’re excited to announce that recruitment to the CF BioResource has reopened. Here's everything you need to know about this exciting project that has the potential to change our understanding of CF and CF treatments.
In 2025, Kieran, 27, was put on the transplant list, with his lung function dropping to just 20%. With the support of his family, CF team and Cystic Fibrosis Trust, he’s now feeling stronger than ever and determined to “live life to the full”. We spoke to him about his hopes for the future, what he wishes more people knew about CF, and why he fundraises for the Trust.
