How do I fundraise?
The easiest way to collect money is by online sponsorship. Simply go to JustGiving to set up your own online fundraising page. Once you're up and running you can email the link to your family, friends and colleagues, and all donations will be sent to us automatically.
If you collect money another way, you'll need to pay in the money you've raised.

How do I pay in the money I've raised?
JustGiving

What is cross-infection and how might it affect my event?
People with cystic fibrosis should never meet each other, as they carry bacteria within their lungs that could be harmful to each other. Take a look at our cross-infection at events information.

How do I make sure my event is safe and legal?
When organising your charity event it is important to think about the health and safety of staff, volunteers, participants and members of the public, and to do your best to minimise any risks.

We are very grateful for your support and are delighted that you are thinking about organising a fundraising event, but the Cystic Fibrosis Trust cannot accept liability for any fundraising activity you undertake. If you require insurance there are organisations that can help, such as Event insurance services.

- We will not put undue pressure on you to make a gift and if you do not want to give or wish to cease giving, we will respect your decision.
- If you tell us that you don’t want us to contact you in a particular way we will not do so.
- We will keep your personal data secure and only use it to update you about our work or to respond to requests from you.
- We will never sell or share your data with other orgnisations.

- If you are unhappy with anything we’ve done whilst fundraising, you can contact us to make a complaint.

- If we cannot resolve your complaint, we accept the authority of the Fundraising Regulator.
