There are three types of grants we provide: emergency grants and health and wellbeing grants and holiday grants.
1) Emergency grants
There is a simple process for applying for emergency grants, and payments will normally be made within a week of us receiving the application.
Emergency grants include:
Transplant grants (Maximum amount £250)
These cover travel and related costs for people having a transplant or transplant assessment.
Small grants (Maximum amount £150)
These could be used for emergency needs such as essential smaller cost items, emergency household repairs or unexpected travel costs.
This is a grant of £750 to pay towards the cost of a funeral.
